20 Things I am Not Going to Miss About Germany
- Walking everywhere!
- Carrying heavy groceries
- Hard and boring classes
- Catching the bus or train
- Sorting all of my garbage
- The tiny refrigerators
- The extremely odd weather (especially since its usually cold)
- Outrageous prepaid phone plans
- Over priced soft drinks
- The size of a so called “large” soft drink
- Not being able to read the menu because it’s all in German
- Having to pay for public bathrooms.
- Delayed trains!
- Not being able to stay out late unless you want to stay out all night!
- CNN being the only channel I can watch and understand because everything is in German.
- Not having my favorite fast food restaurants.
- Not having a dryer and having to hang all my clothes and wait for them to dry.
- Stores closing at 6pm and nothing being open on Sundays!
- Horrible internet connection.
- Not having doctor pepper, maple syrup, and peanut butter easily available!
